First and Perpetual Profession, Renewal of Vows
On February 2nd, Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres, Philippine Province, welcomed five Sisters who made their perpetual profession, and three Sisters who made their First Profession.
The new perpetually professed Sisters were: Sr. Maria Victoria Bughao – Diocese of Tagbilaran, Sr. Mary Joannie Bolisay – Diocese of Cabanatuan, Sr. Cherry Marie Maitim, Sr. Mary May Salvoro – from the Diocese of Dumaguete and Sr. Sheila Frances Felipe, from the Diocese of Baguio.
The Sisters who made their first temporary profession were: Sr. Gemma Amor Salug – from the Diocese of Tandag, Sr. Aileen dela Cruz, from the Diocese of Pasig, and Sr. Paola Stephanie Bacay, from the Diocese of Manila.
The Eucharistic celebration was presided by Most Rev. Sofronio Bancud, SSS, DD, bishop of Cabanatuan.
On this day, 18 Juniors also renewed their vows for one year, and the perpetually professed Sisters, forever.
