The journey towards vocation discovery often starts with questions, Life's Big Questions:
1. What will I do with my life?
2. What is my purpose?
3. What is God’s will for me?
The next thing one has to do is SEARCH.
Be pro-active and do your part to gather information to answer your questions in life. Here, it would be advisable to seek
the help of spiritually mature persons.
You may want to contact the SPC Vocations.
Immerse yourself in prayer. Set aside a day in a week where you will specifically pray for your vocations. Spend at least 30 minutes before the Blessed Sacrament. If that is not possible, find a place where you could be quiet and do some personal reflection. Read the Bible.
Go to Mass as often as you can and be sensitive to God’s message for you. Ask also the help of Mama Mary by praying the Rosary.
Get to know yourself.
Who are you? What are your likes and dislikes?
What are your best traits and not-so-good traits?
What makes you happy? What makes you angry?
Write down your reflections. Begin a journal.
After doing the steps mentioned,
go for a State-of-Life Discernment Retreat. SPC Vocations conducts Discernment Retreat on an appointment basis.
